如果是应付四级考试，不应当背新概念。可是如果想真正提高英语水平，当然新概念是极好的材料，因为它很地道，很经典。二册的很多文章，还有三册的部分，四册就不必了，四册是科学性文章，不用背。
可是四级考试是中国式-英语考试， 单纯应付考试，还是多做题，找到四级出题的套路和应试技巧，背背四级作文范文，记住好句子。考试时信手拈来，节省时间，批卷老师看起来也容易。

每个考试都有它的出题套路，单纯应付考试，或者短期应付考试，我说的方法很管用。可是英语是长期才能提高水平的，要想做到考啥啥过，还得长期坚持，下功夫呀
