【教学目标】知识目标:学会并运用“It has…”描述熟悉的动物。听懂、会说、认读单词giraffe, bear, elephant.
能力目标:能在恰当的语言环境中使用“It has…”
情感态度价值观:培养学生爱护动物,热爱自然。
【教学重点】学会并运用“It has…”
【教学难点】用“It has…”自编小谜语。
【教学方式】竞赛,游戏,示范,TPR等。
【教学准备】教学挂图,磁带,动物卡片,动画人物头饰(Bob)等。
【教学过程】
Step1. Greetings and warm-up.
1.Free talk.
T: Hello, children!
Ss: Hello, Sandy!
T: Nice to meet you.
Ss: Nice to meet you, too.
T: How are you?
Ss: Fine, thank you. How are you?
T: Very well, thanks. Let’s go to school.
Ss: All right.
2.Sing “Let’s go to school.”
Step2. New items.
1. Lead in.
Review the animal words with “What’s this in English?”(近)and“What’s that in English?”(远)
2. Draw a bear on the Bb(blackboard).Ask the Ss:“What’s this in English?”
3. Teach “bear”.Discribe the bear with the sentences below.
It’s a bear. It has a big head. It has two small ears. It has two big eyes. It has a small nose. It has a big mouth. It has a fat body. It has strong arms and legs.
4.Drill and practise“It has…”
5.Riddles from the teacher.
a/T: I have a riddle. It has a small head.It has a long neck. What’s this in English?
Ss: It’s a giraffe.
T: Right.
b/ Teach “giraffe”.“It’s a giraffe.”“It has a long neck.”
c/ Another riddle.
T: It’s very very big. It’s very very strong. It has a long nose. It has two big ears. It has sharp teeth. It has four strong legs. It has a long tail. What is it?
Ss: Elephant.
d/ Teach“It’s an elephant.”“It has a long nose.”强调元音开头的名词前用an表示一个。
6.Riddles from the Ss.
7.Guessing game.
Discribe one of the Ss in the classroom. Guess who she/he is.
7.Listen to the tape recorder and imitate the pronunciation.
8.Practise the dialogue.
9.戴头饰表演。
10.实践表演。
Step3. Consolidation. Do the activities on the workbook.
Step4. Homework.
1.Read the dialogue 5 times.
2.Make up some riddles.
