英语分多少级，最高级别是多少？
PETS考试的五个级别，以一级为最低，五级为最高。笔试部分满分为100分，60为合格；口试部分满分5分，3分为合格。考试的时间与内容要求分别如下：
一级：PETS1为五个级别中的初始级。笔试90分钟，口试3分钟。考试的要求略高于我国九年义务制教育初中毕业的英语水平，考生应具有1000个单词的基本词汇量。
二级：PETS2为五个级别中的中下级。笔试90分钟，口试8分钟。考试要求考生具有相当于我国普通高中优秀毕业生的英语水平，掌握2000个基本英语单词及相关的词组。
三级：PETS3是五个级别中的中间级。笔试120分钟，口试10分钟。考试要求考生具有相当于完成我国大专院校两年公共英语学习或自学同等程度英语课程的水平，并要求掌握4000个基本英语单词及相关的词组。
四级：PETS4为五个级别中的中上级。笔试140分钟，口试12分钟。考试要求考生具有相当于完成我国大学四年公共英语学习或自学同等程度英语课程的水平，并掌握5500个基本英语单词的词汇量及相关的词组。
五级：PETS5是五个级别中的最高级。
笔试140分钟，口试15分钟。考试要求考生具有相当于完成我国大学英语专业两年学习的水平，并要求掌握7500个基本英语单词及相关的词组。
