only text: YOU CAN DO a lot of crazy things with text, such as sinking feeling or cutting.
Learn to USE LARGE FONTS,but small is also elegant.

Just as Steve Jobs in 1998 said, people don't know what they want until you show it to them

pictures:a picture is worth 1,000 words, every picture tells a story.

video: if a picture is worth 1,000 words, video is worth 30,000 words every second!
VIDEO IS PRESENT: every minute, ten hours of video is uploaded.
video is: easier, faster, time bound, action, accessible and fun

one more skill for you:slideless!
everyone does slides: teachers, politicians and preachers.
wait…do they use slides?
go slideless.
speaking directly is more compelling.audience’s focus on you not on screen.give it a try.

stick figures: are you excited about presentations?

quiet presentation:
do you really have to speak during presentation?you can doesn’t mean you should.
create a simple presentation: change slide transition from manual(click) to auto transition
& time each slide carefully. add some really good music if you want.
I tried it and it worked wonderfully well.

talking pad:
Seth Godin said, the modern talking pad: I think this is a big idea, but your mileage may vary
1.create a presentation (graphs, images, a few words to anchor a discussion) on every page
2.remove some of the information
3.print the presentation

when you make your presentation, sit next to the person you're meeting with and go through the booklet page by page, writing directly on each page.
the two of you can talk about what's in front of you and mark it up.
It's not a brochure/presentation, it's the outcome of a working session
